Well I figured out the whole vtec problem but now I have another problem the car randomly bogs while driving and randomly misfires while making a stop. I have no cels, everything is connected correctly and I have no idea where to begin to solve my problem. Anybody have any suggestions? Help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks

bogging and random misfires can be your ignitor. do a tune up on the car and see what happens

 

the coil could be arcing. to check it, remove the coil from the distributor, take the metal plate off of it, and look for a discolored circle on the plate and coil

 

so i dont know where the coil is. i checked for codes again and it threw a code 8. top dead center sensor. how can this be fixed?
