can you put B20 cames in the ls? What's the power gain if any?
Just curious... was thinking about it, and thought the b20's might have a more aggressive cam since the displacement is a little bit bigger. Anyone ever tried it? How did you like it?
Thanks for the info

they are the same in the corilating years of the ls and b20 engines. the cams in in a 90-91 b18a and the cams in a 02-03 b18a are different. i believe that the b20's use the newer b18b cams. i think you would only have a gain (not much) if you had a earlier model b18a
I just put a b20b in my teg...you could definitely feel the difference, mainly torque. If you do get a b20b make sure it has the P8R head, that's the only good b20 out there: rated 146 HP 133 TQ. It's a definitely a good foundation for a vtec head swap later down the road.
