Eibach Springs - Prokit or Sportline
I have the sportline on my 2005.. and my boyfriend has it on his 1995.. no issues there I don't know how the ones for the new civics are I would think the same. The sportline is lower than the prokit.

i remember you lol
can you explain why eibach designed the springs to be lower in the rear than the front? that doesn't make much sense to me

so then why do that NOW and not years ago? why do 88-05 civics have the front lower than the rear?
Personally I think (and no offense to Eibach) that H&R is a little more aggressive and better of a spring.. they have a different design .. 1.6F/1.3R (for their race springs) and those were used on the 2 Sis that they raced at Thunderhill
so what i'm sayin is... okay the motor is in the front... still doesn't make since to make the rear sit lower than the front.. makes MORE sense to put a stiffer spring rate on the rear springs
kind of like how OmniPower has the drag springs that you can swap out in the rear made especially for draggin
so i dont understand mike what you mean by what you said...

Tein, Nuespeed, H&R, progress ... front lower than the rear (and i'm speaking same application here)

I'm Honda Less for now, but we do own a Pontiac Vibe (Matrix) and I had the same question - why is the rear lower than the front.
First, it like .1 inches. So you really can't tell, and won't notice it. Two. because it's FWD. Tilting it a fraction bit back, will help with the center of gravity. Also, it has to do with the under/oversteer stuff, which I don't recall. I trust that they know what they are doing and design it that way in the name of handling first, and looks second.

Isn't the Sportline kit just going to be another .4 inches lower? That doesn't seem like it would be a huge tradeoff to go a little bit lower, in my opinion, especially since it will eliminate the wheelgap.
Clearly, you seem to have plenty of experience with this though. What are your reasons for recommending the Pro-Kit?

okay well.. it finally makes sense to me now.. i was being stuborn about it before
but i still dont like the fact that they would be made that way. . iono.. thats just me though. i got some tein s-techs (on trade
) for my spare HID projectors
so i'll be posting my opinion on that soon enough

The Sportlines are extremely stiff. I had them on my Jetta and it was a very harsh and uncomfortable ride, I dreaded coming up on any bump or dip in the road. If I had to do over, I'd go with the Prokit.
Another thing to think about between these to spring instead of just the drop is the spring rates as well. I dont know for sure but I assume there would be a noticable difference between the 2 (prokit and sportline) as well as any other springs out there.
You can prob find the spring rates on Eibach's website or maybe vtecvoodoo knows.
