I bought a new clutch and flywheel
got the clutch from here
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1503237 (thanks blueR for getting it here on time)
and the flywheel from here
http://www.racingworks.com/fid...l.htm
(my part number on the receipt is correct)
and heres whats happening
In the last pic i tried using a butter knife to show how much of a gap there is..
That cant be normal, can it??
I dont ever remember seeing something like that..though ive never installed a BRAND NEW clutch on a car..theyve always had some sorts of wear.
Thanks for any help I really wanted to get this installed tomorrow.

but it seems that the gap is being cause by the clutch disc...if i remove the clutch disc the pressure plate mates perfectly with the flywheel..as soon as i put the clutch disc in it adds that gap..

Joo have a manual? no? get one...
Yes? nm...
Criss-cross pattern---two torque sequences: first to 10 lbs
Start at the bolt you began w/ and follow the torque upto 19lbs
Grease the imput shaft, the the ball where the shift fork contacts and the inside of the thrust bearing.
Break the clutch in...for AT LEAST 350 miles...most recommend 750+ before driving aggressively. I skipped that part because I installed a clutch two days before a track day and now it whines...still looks goot, though. good luck.
