I am having a problem with the wiring harness on the B18C1 swap that I am doing on my 94 Civic Lx. The engine wiring harness does not match up to the wiring that goes from the ecu to under the hood were the enging wiringing plugs in. Any advice on what I need to do? what year motor and harness?

 

The motor is a 94 JDM GSR B18C1 Vtec and it is going into a 94 Civic Lx.

 

u need a usdm gsr harness or modify your stock harness. Either way you will have to do some modifications. if u use your stock harness, u'll have to add vtec, vtec pressure, IAB, knocksensor wires all the way to the ecu, and extend various connectors. If u use a usdm GSR harness, u'll have to switch evap to IAB at the ecu and run wires for vtec, vtec pressure, knock, and EVAP from the shock tower connector, through the firewall to the ecu.
