H23Vtec Timing Problem
I have the H23Vtec in my Accord. Everything has been built and put into spec.
I am using JUN Cam Gears and an Unorthodox Crank Pulley.
We have tried to Time it several times. The problem that keeps occuring is,
the Cam keeps being off by a tooth. Which makes the car not run properly.
The last one we tried, we lined up the marks on the Flywheel, the Crank, and the Cam Gears. We put it at TDC all the way around.
Once we tighten everything back up and used the timing gun, it was off by only
One Tooth. Before we were off 4, then 2, and now 1 tooth.
Does anyone know of a better way to get it perfectly lined up and no Teeth off.
The Cam Gears are fully adjustable, currently we have them at ZERO.
Im gonna attempt it again after work today, but some extra info would be
WONDERFUL!!!!'
Thanks fello H22 Owners and H23Vtec owners as well.
