Default wiring diagram for cd player

can anyone provide me with what wires are what on a 89 civic hatchback dx? I am going to install my cd player and system and i need to know what wires are what cuz im too cheap to buy a harness.

use a circut tester to find the hots and the grounds... than use a battery to find the speakers touch the + to - on the speaker and you will hear the speaker click and that will tell you what speaker it is

Just buy harness it will save you alot of time and headcahe. It only costs like $20.

if you wont even buy a harness then your system must not be too good. OEM and after market electronics dont like eachother. buy a harness and do everything right before it **** you later. i suggest buying butt connectors. twisting the wire and taping it with electrical tape will work but is half *** and will come apart.

The only thing easier than what ai0385 is telling you would be to take out your factory manual and look at the wiring diagram for the radio.

You do have the factory manual don't you?
