taffetta white or frost white for repaint?
HI guys i'm repainting my car soon, and i decided to just keep it stock color but i wanted to ask you guys if there was a noticable difference between taffetta and frost white, i think mines frost now but its so faded it doesnt really represent. Please let me know wich is nicer if there is much of a difference at all. thanks!
i got frost white... its a little duller than taffetta... but whenever you have something repainted, like a bumper, it usually comes out brighter. so it pretty much doesnt make a difference. taffeta white seems brighter though.
paint it the original color. Although the difference is hard to tell, I would always paint original color unless you are going to strip everything to have it painted.
so the difference is that taffetta is brighter and frost is more of an off white? what color do you guys like better, also any other suggestions on color would be cool.
well i was in two minds bout it but i kinda decided to stay with stock so people dont give me "wanna be type r comments" i could dissregard them but champ-white looks a little yellowy to me, i like it a lot i just dont know. maybe i should poll?

Well I have the Taffetta white on my GSR. I also bought a Frost white OEM kit. Lets hope the difference isn't too bad because I really dont want to repaint it but, I want to install it pretty soon. Been in my garage for 4 months now!!
there is a slight diff. the taffeta has a hint of yellow in the paint. the frost white OEM kit is "whiter" when put up next to the taffeta white(my paint color). nothing big, but its noticable
so would you kind of say that taffetta is a mix between champ white and frost white? i remember seing a pic of a taffetta and it looked yellowy, thought it was the light though. i'm gonna go search some car lots and look for some live samples. i put a poll up in the appearance forum and champ white seems to be the favorite.
