Hi there. I ordered axles for my ’92 Accord hybrid (Prelude VTEC motor) from you last December. You recommended and sent a driver’s side axle from a ‘90~’93 Accord and a passenger side axle from a ‘93~’96 Prelude VTEC. The Prelude axle worked fine, but the Accord axle did not, it didn’t even have the right connection on the transmission side, so this axle is totally unused. Is it too late for me to return this axle and get a Prelude axle? I had totally forgotten about this predicament until I cleaned out my tool closet this weekend.
Well, there was a slight mixup, but the Raxle axle is awsome. They are much beefier than stock. I can't wait to get both of them on!

Dave,
I think this has been a mix-up from the git-go.

My records say that you installed a Prelude h22a with the Prelude intermediate shaft.
You must have kept your old Accord Intermediate.
Then i assumed(uh oh ), this was a performance setup with the ABS disabled.
The HD.STRONGER outer joints are basically non abs units.

Oh, one more thing, my ABS has ceased to function (ABS code says front right ABS sensor, where the Raxle is) because the Raxle does not have an ABS sensor ring on it. Can you provide such a sensor ring to place around the end of the axle? Also, will the Prelude VTEC axle you swap have an ABS sensor ring on it?

Thanks again.
Damn it, the Raxle axle does not support ABS. Aside from those sensor rings, my ABS functions perfectly. It's a waste not to have it working. And, no, I'm not going to rip it out, 'cause I like to have ABS sometimes.

The Raxle bill came to $428 for two axles and shipping.

That's funny Dave, I have accord axles on both sides of my car. I'm also using the accord intermediate shaft. From what I understand, the accord intermediate shaft has a female socket on the axle side and the prelude is male.

Whoa. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure if I've pulled the driver's side axle to take a look at the connection. The Accord and Prelude both have a male end on the intermediate shaft, so the axle should have a female end. I am going to pull that axle...

The accord intermediate shaft definitely has a female end. I spent quite some time at the track one day finding someone with the proper tools needed to pull the broken piece of axle out of the intermediate shaft.
