y8 mini me only reving to 6500 rpm ..

y8 mini me only reving to 6500 rpm ..

Using stock p28, ex injectors, wired obd1, cant figure out why rev limiter is kicking in almost 1k early. someone suggested tach being off, but that is not the case, any ideas?

i dont know if anyone knows this answer theres been like 20 forums on this including mine an nobody has come up with a answer an i have checked everything?

yeah i have the same thing on my d16y7 it only revs up to about 5500-6500 rpm

sometimes its not the ecu but rather a fuel problem or spark problem. check ur spark plugs and ur fuel filter. my sohc did the same then and i realized i had a fuel leak.
