PEAKBOOST KITS?
bought one. just finished the install. here's what i found out:
-manifold fits great. Only problem is the the far left and far right runners do not provide enough clearance to properly install the stock self-locking nuts. I had to shave off parts of the nut in order to get it to fit properly. Hopefully the manifolds now provide enough clearance.
-downpipe is 3" which is fantastic, but it hangs really low. This might not be a problem if your car sits stock height, but my car is lowered so i had to go to the muffler shop and get it shortened. also, the dp didnt come with the O2 bung welded on so you'll have to make at least one trip to the muffler shop before installing the dp.
-oil drain is not stainless steel line so be prepared for that. Shouldnt be a big deal, but some people care.
-no instructions but you should be able to find some great info on h-t to help you with the install
-you will need to buy the following items if you buy the basic kit: injectors, fuel management (i.e. Hondata, Crome, etc...), vacuum tubes (vacuum manifold if you want a cleaner install), boost controller (if you want more boost), boost gauge (optional), high flow fuel pump, some bolts for installing the intercooler, sandwich plate for oil (they provide a T-line which is adequate, but i had a lot of trouble gettin it to not leak which prompted me to get the sandwich), and air filter for the turbo intake side.
overall, i'm happy with the kit and it would have been a lot smoother if the manifold provided more clearance for the nuts. good luck!
