Prop valve question
OK i have been searching for hours now and i get soo many different responses... My question is this... I have a 96 ek and i am converting to ctr 5 lug and i need to know whether i should replace the prop valve.... They appear to be the same but everyone says go with a 40-40 prop valve or use a 99-00 si prop valve. Others have said i dont need to replace it because its the same part # thus the same valve.. WTF?! They look the same and have the same part # so are they infact the same prop valves..... HELP ME OUT GUYS!

I'm not sure about the answer to your question but i know i had a 92 si hatch and put 99 GSR suspension and brakes all the way around and used the stock pp valve and it worked perfectly fine with no need to change it. Not exactly the answer to your question but i hope it helps a little

All EK proportioning valves are not the same. The 99-00 SI and 96-00 Hatch props are the same. The 96-00 coupe (non-si) and 4 door are the same. What car do you have?
