Did a search on this forum and didnt find much help, so decided to start this topic.
? does anyone know the easiest way to get crx seats into my eg? do the seat pans from eg fit onto the crx seats? will it be easier to just fab up new rails? any input is appreciated!!! i have a set of the cleanest crx si seats i have ever seen. it would be a shame if they went to waste!

did you see if the rails would line up so you dont need to take things apart? if not im sure u can use the rails from the eg seats.

ALL honda seats have the same basic pan designe... GENERALLY you can swap the pan from your stock seats to the desired seats so you can use the stock rails...

Search there is a write up on using this method to put S2k seats in a EG and having it so they fold all the way forward to access the rear.

I'm prob. going to do it to my GSR seats since they sit higher than the stock civic seats do.

 

the rails do not match up and the mounting points on the two seats are quite different, therefore the rails will not swap w/o modification... i checked and i beleive the only way to do this is to make rails or swap pans. guess i will just have to swap pans. had del sol seats before and no problems swapping rails on those but unfortunately this is a different story.
