Anyone can shift fast, but it still doesn’t mean your doing it right! It's not rocket science but their is a sweet spot with every gear when you hit it you will know. About the modified Z's there not all that great to me. I give them credit they are an amazing car sound nice. My buddy has a 2004 Z Invidia exhaust ? Intake not sure Header, Susp. Cams, n light weight pulleys' and we were on the interstate I was at 45 in 2nd and we launched at the same time and I even got the jump on him and he didn’t start to get even with me till beginning of 5th. I was not impressed at all, I was thinking it was the lack of his driving skill than the cars fault. With the WRX's I was cruisin with my friend about 11:00 at night on a Friday, and WRX comes up next to me gets even with me. He accelerates enough for me to hear his turbo then slows back down we both down shift into 2nd and punch it and I still get the jump he doesn’t pass me till about the middle of 4th. His car was obviously faster but still didn’t impress me like I thought a WRX boosted would with bar in half of PSI, as he told me when we stopped at the next light.

In any car that’s high performance and meant for racing I would say its 75% driver 25% car.
