HI, my name is Jack and I just recently purchased a 98' Civic EX, clean and well taken care of. The other night I was driving and my Check Engine Light came on. Just took it in for an oil change and the problem still continued. I noticed when the car gets warmed up and I am stopped the car will start to sputter, and the idle will jump from 1000rpm to about 2000rpm back down to less than 1000rpm. My friend thinks its a spark plug misfire but I would like to get anotehr opinion. Any help would be much appreciated.
