30mpg. But I always just put in neutral when I see a redlight ahead, shift at ~2700 rpm. I do go fast on the freeway though so I'm sure I could get better MPG. Gas is just too high here it's approaching 2.80 for the cheap stuff

I sort of have a H23.

97mm stroke
87mmm Bore
JDM F22B DOHC nonVTEC cylinder head.
Crower stage 3 cams

I get about 25-28 in the city and about 33-34 on the freeway with an M2F4 short geared transmission.

I'm embarrassed to say I struggle for 26mpg on the freeway. But my valves sound like they need a serious adjustment, so I'm hoping that will restore it.

Is that better than when you had the H23 tranny?

I hope you're not using the cheap stuff!

When I bought the car it was around 26-30 depending on conditions.

Now after some basic mods I'm at 22-26. :\

holy hell, do you guys have a big *** tank or what?
on a 11.9 gallon tank, i barely get 320 on good days and 270 on hard city/highway driving.
but since i go on city driving all the time, it's about 250 lately.

And this is just IN MY SOHC Civic!

With my 92, I used to get between 375-400 per tank. Mixed driving.

I've gotten 450 on a tank before, going to vegas without stopping and I must've been bone dry. At 30mpg and 15.9 I didn't have much left. Anyways when my gas light goes on and I go to the station it only fills up to 13.5 gallons so there's a little more than 2 gallons left in the car when the light goes on (at least for me).

my last tank I got 25.5 mpg, mixed city/highway, but to be fair everyday I have to floor it to work from school to get there, so I'm doing 80-90 for about 5 minutes every day, don't know how bad that short trip affects it

I can get up to 400 miles to a tank, but that's with mainly highway driving.

It's so weird, i have a 1.8 base nissan sentra, it says I get good gas mileage, but I swear, 10 gallons is gone in like 5 days, of 3 trips to school (15-18 miles each way) and trips to work. I swear im only getting like 180-200 to a tank, but its because its stop and go city traffic light driving, and some freeway driving. It just doesnt add up, and makes me mad.

Oh btw, longer gears don't have to do with mpg. rpm's doesnt have to do with mpg, throttle position does. common misconception.
