Default Matching gear??

Hey all.... so it's almost time to ride...I will be riding more this year with my boyfriend so i got gear, i insisted on getting a pink, black, silver helmet that i thought i would love.. with a white full leather jacket.. (with silver) ... But now im thinking i should have gotten something that matched his gear, and the bike.. which is red, black.. yes i know pink and red clash but i insisted .. anyway im kinda regreting the colors that i had chosen ( i would rather not look so retarded on the back of this thing) hahaha.. Wondering what kinda of gear your Girlfriends have when riding with you, and were/are you as picky about the color? Matching? Just curious... and open to suggestions.. thanks guys...

here is a picture of my helmet.. eh....... let me know what you think.. and what you personaly would do!....

I personally dont match my gear to my bike since I buy/sell bikes quite often. Can't go wrong with black gear. I bought my girl:

- solid white Shoei helmet

- A* Alpinestars Women's 4W Rebel Air Flo Textile Jacket (in black/grey; middle of pic)

- A* GP Plus gloves (in black; my track gloves)

Love the pink!... insane that when i first looked at the picture i thought i was looking at myself... weird... anyway.. not sure how fitting goes for women jackets, it took me a long time to find a jacket that fit perfectly, i have a small build, small shoulders, torso, and hips,... but rather large *****.. is it possible to get a jacket specially made for perfect fit???

Just wear what you have.

It's better that it's pink and that it doesn't match.

CARS WILL NOTICE YOU

Trust me, you WANT cars to see that clash of colors, it'll prevent people from rear-ending you, crossing in front of him when they're making lefts, etc etc.

Bikers need to makes themselve stand out, because cagers just aren't used to seeing bikers enough to know to look out for them. You got what you liked so keep it.

My girl wheres a brigh blue ICON jacket, an ARAI Edwards red/black/white helmet. My bike is grey/black, my jacket is grey black, and my helmet is the crazy Suomy Fabrizio race replica.

I'm ok with it.

Just saw this...I WANT to say..."perhaps you should send us a picture of you in a tight tank top...so we could get a good gage of what jacket would be best for you.."

But seriously, read my previous post....

Best of luck

A lot of the new gear coming out is geared specifically towards women, meaning flattering cuts and designs that actually fit. If you need something custom, well, that's beaucoup bucks. Try several different manufacturers, as they all have variances in how they fit.

She likes the jacket and the gloves. Its fairly warm and has a removable liner for when it warms up. The helmet is a bit old so she'll be getting a new helmet once I get a job

My bike is copper so there's really no such thing as matching gear. We both have black/gray/white Rocket jackets but not the same model 'cause that's just taking the whole matching thing a bit too far. My helmet is the same color so we got one that's similar (different design) but has pink highlights so it's still somewhat feminine. Overloading on the pink (or other pastels for that matter) is just being an attention ***** IMO.

My wife has rather large ***** but I think it is only cause of the breast feeding. Once the milk runs dry they gonna look like tea bags.

i think she said she's riding on the back

your jacket and helmet will be fine, so long as they fit you right. i wouldn't be so worried about it matching or not... you're a girl for 06 though a lot of the manufacturers have come out with great girls' stuff, better than the icon stuff we were limited to last year wrt cuteness (which is important to me! ) if your jacket isn't fitting you properly (esp in the bust area) i'd see about trying on some others joe rocket, and a* have some cute stuff out now.

personally i'm going for:

you may like JR's trixie, if it fits:

just my .02

Checked out your homepage. Excellent taste in vehicles.

As far as gear for goes, when in doubt...choose black.

yeah but... from a practicality stand point, how much diff do you think wearing light / white gear in the summer would be? black gear gets SOOO hot. in the end i just find the honda jacket cuter.
