two encounters!
hey guys, today i saw a brand new RSX (newer model), but this one was alil different, it had honda badges and a type-R badge....this is all new to me so im just looking for a clear explination, ive only seen and heard of type-R RSXs but those are the older models RSX, this one was a new one, did they also make a type-R for this newer model RSX? if so, should it differ which hand-drive it should be? this one had the driver on the left side...is this possible? are these avaible out of the states? or did this guy just spend allot of cash on a new RSX and did engine swap, badges and etc.? plus this car wasnt stock, it already had some ice rims, sway bar and was lowered, sorry i have no other discription of this car
my other encounter was on my way back home to austin, i saw another RSX, new model, on the highway, im guessin it was fresh off the lot, he still had paper plates, but this one didnt have any other badges except honda badges and was also driving on the left side. thanks for all the help
(flame suit on, just incase)

now without talking about the badges, how else could i tell they it is a true type-R? is it possible to import one here? and if so then would it be right or left-hand drive?
Dude, they just bought badges off of Ebay or something. There is like a .0001 % chance that those were actual Integra-R's.
yes it is possible to import a car to the states, but it simply isn't worth it. Too many fees and you pay a ton of money just to have a novelty item. A novelty item that will have thieves sniffing up your *** every day.

its logical, makes sense, just checking, like i said im new to this, so im not exactly up to date with what is out or what is not, i had a feeling maybe he did put badges...o well
The real ones won't necessarily be right-hand drive.
They should have honest-to-God Brembo brakes and a limited-slip tranny with slightly closer ratios than what's available here in the US.
There's other stuff, I'm sure, but those are the things I'm pretty positive about.
