I know how much torque you can get with a b18b but the B18c has so much horsepower. whatever i decide i will put a drag turbo system on the motor, it will be a T3/T4 setup. Can someone help me with this??

B18c puts down more power reguardless of what kit you use....I'd say that qualifies for the best

I would say the B18C1 is better. It has a slightly better rod ratio (1.57:1 vs 1.54:1), piston oil squirters, knock sensor protection, and stronger overall construction. By the way, it does NOT have less torque than the B18B. In fact, it is rated as having 1 more ft-lb stock.

(Dont know how to word this)

will a stock b18b handle more boost than stock b18c1

Stock for Stock a boosted B18C1 will produce more power than a B18B. It has a higher compression than a B18B for just a simple comparison. Remember this is stock for stock, although I would have to say if you kept the same compression as stock but built the engine up that the B18C1 would produce more power IMO. I'll find out soon enough, my friend is going B18B and I am going B18C1.

This is a no brainer.
The B18c has VTEC and therefore has a cam lobe for low rpm and another for lobe for high rpm.

B18B only has one lobe for the entire RPM range.

Peak HP and torque is determined by how much Air and fuel your engine will inhale. More air/fuel means more energy released.

Besides the obvious advantage that the b18c is built better, it also flows a lot better than the B18B.

I just got a b18b plus the front brakes, control arms, suspension for real cheap. But i know the b18c does make more power. But...stock internals, from all of the posts i read, the b18b is stronger, and later on you can slap a b16 head on there and make it a lsvtec turbo. Just my opinion tho
