i just changed my TCU on my 91 accord lx because the sports light was stuck on and my car didnt shift by itself. i put the TCU in then drove the car. but the sports light blinks.

The do you have the "S" button pressed on your shifter?

 

Hey give me the number on the tcu you just bought.I bet it's from an accord that doesn't have the sport feature.
If he had the sport button pressed it should just be lit up solid green with no flash.

 

Ohh i overlooked the blinking part. good call.

 

My S light started blinking and tranny stopped working right. I replaced the TCU and the "blinking" S light is now solid and won't go away. Still have shift issues and it is dragging. The speedometer works.

I tried to check the codes (long 10 short 1) but when we connected the jump wire to the connection on the passenger side (2 hole plug in blue) the S light did NOT flash codes. My CEL flashed steady and I'm told that means it's okay. I tried removing the ECU fuse, disconnected the battery and I just don't get it. Can anyone help me with this ON S LIGHT after install of new TCU?
