Default XS AX-1 BALL BEARING VF-23 Questions.

I finally figured out what turbo I have and I traded my jdm eg headlights/cluster for em', it's an IHI VF-23/XS ENGINEERING AX-1 ball bearing turbo. I think I got a pretty good deal, I know you guys probably haven't ran one, but I was wondering if you guys knew the specs, and how it would perform on a b-series, or d-series.. oh yea, and also how much is this thing is worth, thanks

btw, the 4 bolt exhaust housing flange is an adapter, the actual exhaust housing flange is a bit trianglar, please give some input if I am wrong.

Seems like a Mitsubishi/DSM type exhaust housing.

it does look like mitsubishi housing, from what I know this came off a talon, and he had an adaptor flange made for the xs ax-1 turbo. The flange is really a trianglar shape and I've searched on google.. found out the turbo is 1500 brand new. Any of you guys can correct me if I'm wrong so please chime in and tell me what I can do w/ this ball bearing turbo

It's a 16G Killer, off of a 95-99 mitsubishi eclipse/talons, features a ball bearing center section, looks exactly like it!, kit is made by xs engineering, anybody know about it?

sorry i can't offer any help on the actual turbo as i have no experience with it.

on a relevant note, i'd be a little wary. i dealt with xs-engineering about 2 years ago and was highly disapointed.

Is that extension arm on the compressor welded onto the Housing? It somewhat looks like an IHI VJ11 turbo,I know the VJ11 I ran last year had the exact same flange as the one you posted. The intake side, flange and wastegate are indentical to the VJ11 I ran last year,I may be wrong and it might just look the same?

you are right, I've seen that earlier and I remember the guy who originally owned it drives a talon, I'm pretty happy w/ my decision in trading a few exterior parts.., I am just wondering how would this turbo do on a b series, or let's say d series.., right now I have a t3/to4e .60/.63 A/R waiting to be rebuilt, and i have this perfectly working 16G killer ball bearing turbo w/ zero shaft play and spins freely. I'd would like to experiment on how a 16G ball bearing IHI would work on a b16a but I have a spark racing equal length manifold flanged for a t3, the ball bearing I I believe is a dsm flange.. anybody who'd like to post their thoughts about this setup?
