Default Blox intake mani. install on B18B HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, im putting a blox intake manifold on my b18b. this manifold is made to fit the b18b, im not trying to do a hybrid swap here.

i took out the stock manifold, and i got the blox bolted in. now im trying to plug everything back up, and i ran into some problems......

1st. this is a picture of my stock manifold. it looks like a coolant passage...

here is a picture of the blox. that 1 big port is not split into 2. a big one, and a small one. its kinda hard to see from this picture,

im not sure what im supposed to do with that smaller port.....people say to plug it up. i dunno...

2nd..this guy right here....

MY PROBLEM IS, WHERE THE expletive DO I MOUNT IT? on the stock manifold, it was here:

theres no hole, or anything.....not sure what to do there....

i can use ANY advice that i get right now....so just say something!!!!!! thanks

pictures 1, 2, and 3---connect the original hose to the big hole and plug the other

picture 4--connects to the port on top of the throttle body

picture 5--plugs into the sensor on top of the LS manifold behind the fuel rail

pictures 6 and 7--redrill the holes, or enlarge them

Just to make this really clear...slot the holes on the plate, not the intake manifold

I need help on this also. First I have searched like crazy and nobody can tell me anything about it or how to get rid of it.

There is no hole for it to plug into on the aftermarket manifolds. Do you just get rid of it and plug up the charcoal canistor??????? I have been looking for this answer for a month now! I have now switched over to OBD1 so I dont even think it reads the sensor anymore, I'm I wrong? I was wondering if I can just trash the sh*t.

ANYONE PLEASE HELP US OUT.

leave the connector plugged in, leave the hose port open, and tie-wrap it to the engine harness under the intake

so just let it hang behind the *new* blox manifold. SO its cool just to let it be unplugged like that. Deosn't it have something to do with vaccum to the charcoal canister that looks like to be going to the gas tank????

I now what you mean but just unplugging it and letting it hang on the back of the wiring harness is not harmful?, but is this the correct way to do it. How do any of you do this that have ODB2?

Since I'm converted to obd1 can I just rip it out and plug up the hole where the rubber line goes to the cansister from that sensor???

I noticed when I unplug the sensor it idles lower than normal. When I plug it back in geos up about by 300 rpm??? Is this cool.

Help? sorry for jacking the thread.

the solenoid is for fuel vapor, if it concerns you, put a tee in a hose going to the manifold and connect the hose to the solenoid

here are some really shitty pictures...

i have the hose connected from this piece, to an open port on the back of the intake manifold....heres an old picture. notice how its like plugged in to the top of the manifold. i put a hose on that plug, and put the other end into an open port behind the manifold....

BEFORE:

heres what i did with that coolant line issue...

there was a coolant hose going from the throttle body, to the thermostat housing. so i split that line, put a T splitter in there, and ran the extra line to that "small" port behind the intake manifold...

all done, idles good so far!!!

I did the same thing on my B18a, didn't have as many problems as you, but these BLOX intakes do leave you hanging and confused sometimes.......I put a a JG bored throttle body and this intake on and my car is soggy in the lower RPM's, but I knew this going in. Since I'm putting in Stage 3 Cams I'm not worried about it. Under what circumstances are you under 1500rpms and in 3rd and 4th gear??? Am I misreading? Did this problem resolve with fixes?
