bumper support
the car bumper support was taking off for a body kit.. anyways i'd like to know if not havign a bumper support is it bad? or its to help reinforce the front end of the car in a front end accident? without the support looks like any slight touch can expletive up the rad or the core support..
i think i'm going to have it installed... but can any shop install it for me? or i might have to take it to a body shop? anyways its 95 ACURA LS coupe.. but how many bolts is it? 4 or 8? and whats the size.. i did research but found out the 2000 is 12mm so is the 95 the same? and will any 12mm bolt work.. or theres different length? whats the length.. thanks

You sure treat people who were trying to help you rudely.
The bumper supports are, as Jim already said, to minimize damage in 5 mph accidents. Just look at the number of holes you have in bumper support and the chassis, and that will tell you how many bolts you need and the size that you need. It's really straightforward and easy. Any idiot can do it (which means it should be within reach for you).

It's so easy to pull off the bumper and look for yourself. If you can't figure it out, you shouldn't be working on cars. It's THAT straightforward and simple.
Why are you being so lazy?

Remove the bumper, put bumper support onto car and count the number of bolts you will need. Test bolts in the threaded holes in the chassis until you determine what size they are. Once you've done that, measure how long the bolts must be by looking at the thickness of the bumper support.
Like I said, it's really straightforward.

You're a complete idiot.
I told you step by step how to help yourself but you're too lazy to do so.

Are you kidding me? What do you expect, do you want someone to come to your house and put it on for you?
If you really want, go to a dealer or look at the link below, and figure out what bolts you need it also tells you which ones go where.

What an F'ing idiot.
Go to the DEALER and buy the bumper support. Also if you ask they'll order THE RIGHT BOLTS as well. That way there is no measureing or mucking about for that. Take your bumper off (bolts hidden behind lights usually), plus under car, in fender wells).
Put support on, add bolts, reinstall bumper.
You bloody f'in idiot! Everyone is right.. if you cannot figure this out on your own... DO NOT WORK ON YOUR CAR!
Although.. maybe you should work on your car. If you did it'd never be finished and you wouldn't be on the road!
