Default Crap!! (Oil in heater system?)

I was adjusting my valves the other day and started my car for a few seconds with the valve cover off and got a bit of oil on my engine that I though I cleaned all up. I was driving home from work today and I turn on the heat and get this oil smell... I figure, I'm at a red light.. I bet its some other car thats messed up. I start driving and about 10 miles later its still there! I feel my heater vents and it feels just a little oily but not much. Will this go away after time or do I need to clean it out? Thanks!

Default Re: Crap!! (Maximanko)

It should be fine with time.

I once sprayed some WD40 on my header, and then about 3 miles down the road couldn't see through the fog in my car (smoke). Just keep on driving and it should go away soon. Always drive with the fans on high if you can (I do that anyway) and just keep the windows down.
