valve adjustment help performance?

sup guys,
what benefits will i get if i get my valves adjusted? will i gain any power,or anything for performance?

If it is a stock cam then it would not have a noticable effect. The reason to adjust the valve clearence is to maintain the proper gap between the valve and the rocker arm. Too little and you risk burning a valve as it can keep it partially open and the hot exhaust gases will burn the face of the valve and errode the seat. Too much and the valves will be noisy.
