My friend has a 94 gsr with a gsr head and an ITR block...he has a SMS header from Dave and I am wondering if it'll fit my 2000 ITR without a problem...his car is lowered and doesn't have any clearance isssues...so can I use it??

Yes it will bolt right up and you are only looking at 3-4mm difference in height, because of the head.
If it doesnt scrape on his it wont on yours.

But considering SMS headers are custom made do you think it will have affect on the performance I would have if I bought his rather then have dave make me one?? or it won't matter...?

 

Well if it's the one I think it is then it will fit but not with the ITR tranny/block support. I don't think the header hangs any lower than the oil pan and if it does, it's not more than a 1/4". I believe this header was not coated and it really should be.
