Default what do you think? do i need a new waterpump?

ok i recently swapped in a new motor into my civic and ive driven it about 5 times after each time i touch the radiator and its always cold. the hoses to and from the radiator are pressurized so the thermostat IS working properly but i think the waterpump might not be doing its job. Should i replace the waterpump? the water temp gauge is normal and hasnt overheated but the hose that lets coolant into the radiator always seem kinda low on coolant(i filled the block and radiator with coolant prior). I need opinions. the exhaust is too luod so i cant really listen for a failed waterpump.

if your water pump was bad your coolant would leak out the weap hole

when you say temp gauge is normal, what does that mean.

if the temp gauge is going up, so is the water temprature.

pressure in both hoses dont mean thermostat is working properly. first off do you even have a problem? a cold radiator as long as your temp guage is normal in the middle it should be fine

the temp gauge is normal as in stays in the middle where it should be at operating temp. so far no problems but im just concerned about not feeling any coolant in the return hose from the thermostat to the radiator or only very little. Coolant doesnt seem to be circulating compared to the old motor and and with my del sol which the hoses are always full when you squeeze them. SO i guess my question is whether or not this ir normal on a gsr motor. (thermostat is working since i took it out and put it in 200 degree boiling water and it opened up.)
