So this Feb. was extremly cold...minus 20 at times, not alot of snow in the later months of the winter season, but still plenty on the ground. Last week we got about 3-4 days of 40 degree weather which knocked all the snow off the roads, and then last friday got up to 55. So on Friday, i skipped my afternoon classes, walked the bike about a city block of gravel/mudd road, and rode for about 3 hours. I envy you guys that can ride year round. I put mine up in November and got to ride for the first time this season on Friday, and it was awesome. I think its like sex, absence makes the heart grow fonder type of thing heh. Anyway, my gripe is that i woke up this morning to 4-5 inches of snow....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHH

Please god just let me RIDE!!

I rode into work today (6:30am) and it was 42 degrees this morning. That kinda sucked.

 

i rode to work this morning at about 55+ degrees. my eyeballs were cold. Hopefully it warms up for you, cuz this cold weather gets old real quick

 

I watched the weather channel yesterday and said high of 44. I decided to ride to school. It ended up being 19 degress......I could hardly pull the clutch in when I got there. I thought winter was over but now its snowing here today

 

we had a weekend in the lower 70s to the low 80s - clear skies in the dc area

i just bought my bike and got it registered/insured

now it's not getting above 50....

Rode in to work this morning, probably around 45-50 degrees. Ever get on the freeway with the visor half up? My eyeballs were watering so bad I couldn't see ****. Things we go through just to ride eh?

 

yeah dude i see your in Iowa, im in west central Minnesota...we got a good amount of snow last night, but its melting already today. Where bouts in Iowa are you, i got some friends around the emmetsburg and Des Moine areas.

Its raining today in SoCal, all day and tomorrow as well. Sunday should be good to go though.

 

Here in houston you can also ride 365 days a year. I prefer not to ride in the rain though.

I am from Dubuque which is on on the border of IA, IL, and WI. Luckily the first few hours of snowfall it was to warm and didnt stick. It has almost all melted already.

if i hadnt been working today, i would have been out riding. The roads were totally clear, and it was like 38-40 with the sun, so it would have been bareable for me with full gear. But hey, atleast i spend most of my day on roof tops, so i got alittle sun.

Southern California at that. Note the Integra in the background: It left that space on our driveway no more than 3 times up until I sold it to someone in this forum for their racecar. The weather is that good.

 

I'm so jealous. It was 82 last week here, and this week the low was 29. DC sucks. Maybe I'll go live with the lady in socal. Im getting too old, my joints hurt as it is on cold days/bad humidity.

You Cali's can't leave us Floridian's in the dark, because the last two weeks it's hit the 80's a few times...

The only thing that gets cold lately is my nuts.
