I will be replacing my stock clutch soon, and just wanted to get an idea on what clutch others are using. Brand? Like? Dislike? etc. Thanks.

 

Unless you're boosting and are putting down lots of torque, any brand you preferred is fine. An ACT or Spoon/Mugen sport upgrade will cost you less than $1k. Full racing clutch sets w/e flywheels are upwards of $1k, to include OS Giken, Exedy, Cusco, among others.

 

Honestly, I normally don't go cheap unless its a crap car.

I would at least get a Stage1 ACT clutch.

Had one on my old Delsol & beat the hell out of it for over a year & the damn thing still hooks like a ****.

 

I've got a SPEC Stage 3 clutch with a Fidanza aluminum flywheel. This combo works pretty good. The lightweight flywheel frees up HP and lets the engine rev quicker. The clutch holds very well without being too harsh. I found good prices on horsepowerfreaks.com
