whats a good air intake filter for an aem cold air intake on a civic that sounds nice also ??

Nope, AEM has been making their own filters for a while. The old oiled filters are really simple, just cotton gauze material with a metal screen on both sides.

hmm i guess i'll lookup this AEM DryFlow filter, but i still wouldn't thumbsdown K&N.

actually i saw a thread a while back that had an independent comparison on filters. they tested, flow, amount of filtration, and how long they last etc...

If i remember correctly the apexi power intake filter was the best on every test. With k&N comming in a close second. I was pretty surprised.

I bet the aem dry filter is better than the k&n because its basically a copy of the apexi one which is better than k&n.

the Apexi Power Intake is a great filter...you should definitely check to see if you have Apexi around your neighborhood...every year here in socal they have a special sale...

those filters are 40 bux...
