Without being an *** this time... what kind of VTEC controller has psi on it? Definately sounds like a boost gauge of some sort, yet I don't think VAFC or any other "VTEC controller" has it...

yes, my vafc has a cacuum gauge built into it. i use it more to see if i have vacuum leaks anywhere. it usually ranges from -13 psi (i think thats what its at when idleing or part throttle, could be a little more or less) and i have gotten it up to like -1 psi (when on full throttle).
