Default same side of the road etiquette?

As the title says, what are the general guidelines to riding on the same side of the road as one of the other homies (who you don't know and aren't on a ride with, just another dude on a bike).

??

Wave (two fingers down, thumbsup, etc), then continue on my merry way.

Wave them off if they come up and rev their bikes. Or shake my head.

Don't pass too close. Pass in a safe and courteous manner.

I absolutly hate when bikes pull up side by side to me in a lane and hold like there is some common bond that i must be their friend since im also riding on only two wheels. I dont mean to be bitter, i have nothing against anyone, and respect other riders especially a great deal. If i dont know them, i dont need them lane crowding....but then again, i usually just slow down, wave and let them get the point.

You don't want to be my friend?

lol. A nod or the two fingers down. Sometimes I point at them, "you da man" with a head nod. It gets complicated.

if i see a hot chick on a bike i'll stand and thrust my hips in a vigorous manner

j/k

i just give the two fingers down or the wave by if i see them coming up from behind. I won't follow too close to someone else and i won't lane split with them unless we're stopped at a traffic light and we're riding together. I pass when i'm given the point in the lane or i pass in another lane if they don't see me.

When i'm in a car i give motorcycles a LOT more room in front and on the sides and i tend to slow down a little bit.

Its never happend to me, but if someone tried lane splitting with me I would get pissed. I need that lane just incase something comes up. I dont need someone in my way. I would politly slow down and follow.

I never ride two abreast (CHP style). I don't pull up next to another rider at a light. I make sure the other rider sees me in their mirror before passing him/her. If another rider comes up along side me, I'll roll off the throttle or let them pull off the light first so I have my eye on them and ride accordingly.

here if i see another biker ill keep on my marry ilttle way. But if they see me they come up next to me, and share my lane with me. If we pull up to a redlight, he'll either ask me to race or if i can stunt. Last guy that wanted to stunt got pulled over

ima free spirited rider

pass or be passed
Though if droning I do like to ride two up in a lane, as long as it is someone I trust.

And you know what, if your both paying attention, slow side drops back into normal position(wingman) so both riders have access to the full road when an issue comes up

I've been spending too much time riding solo to get used to riding with a partner - partner.

Riding with a partner next to me scares me, even my dad who has been riding most of his life i will not ride right next to. Just makes me nervous. I have only had one person pull up next to me and that was to ask for directions and then he sped off.

if your not comfortable then don't do it. I am good with it from my cycling days, I love riding inches apart, whether on a scooter or a pedmobile ... but you gotta be able to trust he other person.

I really only share if I know the person and have ridden with them before. Otherwise they get plenty of space.
