gas gauge wont go down.. help!

Default gas gauge wont go down.. help!
my gas gauge wont go pass the middle mark... it would go to the middle mark and go up a bit then go back to the middle.. it wont go below that? could it be the fuel filter relay? any ideas?

this started to happen when i put marvel mystery oil in... where can i find the floater? could the marvel mystery oil have anything to do with this?
