Default Pspec install and review

Hi all-
I bought my 01 lude base with this piece of garbage claiming to be a short shifter installed

I looked into real short shifters and found that pspec is the the only real option (IMO) for those of us with 5th gens.

A lot of people have been hating on Pete @ pspec, but he has been good to me. Given his email response time is slow and it took me a week and a half to get my shifter after I ordered it and paid paypal, I feel it was worth it. 1-2 Shift is 1000x times smoother and 2-3 has a very solid engagement as well.

Installation was pretty straightforward with the exception of removing the actual shifter from the plastic housing. P-spec's site says to hit the wall (towards 2nd) hard with the removal tool installed and it will pop out. This is an understatement, it takes quite a bit of force. With patience and some effort I managed not to break anything.

Here is the finished product.

Overall Pete @ pspec

Until 4bidden makes something for our cars, this is the best choice.
