Hey, I have a 97 accord. It is the 2.2L 4 clyn. I know without doing an h22a swap, Im kinda stuck with what I have. I am more interested in making my car all show, no go. However, I would like to maximize my horsepower as much as possible, through header, COol air intake, ECU, but what else can I do, within a reasonable budget, to make my accord a little faster? Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!!

 

aside from turbo, the easy way to make power is nitrous. its less than turbo, but has variable results. i dont know much about it, but thats a cheaper solution than h22 or turbo. that f22 can make some power if you know what you are doing. search around, there are some good posts on making power with that engine.

 

N/A all motor costs LOTS of money but is real fun to do and takes a lot of time. turbo...anyone can turbo their car but a good tuner can make his car fly. Nitrous is thought of cheating gas or fake speed, but hey, if you're flying by then it's real speed.

 

TuRbO IT!!!!!!!! It well look good under the hood at the car shows. If u have a car to show thats somthing to show off. but your going to spend a LIL money. JUST DO IT

 

New exhaust system oughtta free up some power.
