I have a friend who works in tuning almost exclusively and he is working on my car as well. He has a 91 CRX si with a built motor (sleeve, pistons, rods and other things). It's the D16a6 that came with the car. He has run 11.9 in the quarter mile. I will get the name of the turbo for you. (I think there is 48 in there).

My question is what is the fastest NON vtec D powered car? (quarter mile time/trap speed)
If you have a setup like this let us know how fast you've gone, or if you know of how fast some of these guys are going nowadays.

Bisi ran 10's with an all motor d-series I believe.

 

i see his page is http://www.bisimoto.com and it says something about a D15 however i couldn't find any other information.
anyone else that can speak for there own non-vtec d?

i remember seeing a video from puerto rico of a guy running low times like 11.1' at 12X mph, cant remember exactly, it was super fast though. i remember he blew off a charge pipe while running if that sparks anyones memory. it was a non vtec single cam if im not mistaken.

 

thats interesting thanks... however I don't know if the bisimoto car was not vtec. that would mean 10 secs is probably the fastest
