Default Picked up my new bike on tuesday

picked this baby up tuesday morning. bike feels a lot better for my size then my old r6 did, shorter too which helps (im 5'8"). so far so good, only been able to put 38 miles on her (been too busy with school ****). came stock with adjustable footpegs, stock steering damper, cowl cover, and the lights in the tail/mirrors are a nice touch and have saved me some money. so far im in the middle of removing the warning stickers, took off passenger foot pegs, front reflectors and im waiting on my plate relocator.
Got her with 4 miles on her, and that 0 inside the tach is a factory gear indicator

Shorty Can

Stock Steering Damper

Adjustable footpegs (can be moved into three different positions with a 14mm horizontal and vertical range)

Some features i didnt have on my r6 (pass light, hazards)

Girlfriend got me this as an early bday present (arai rx-7 hayden laguna replica) :smt055

thanks for looking! :thumbup

edit: sorry for the shitting lighting, i was inside (obviously)

That bike is amazing.

I with I could see one in person except they keep selling so they never have one on the floor.

Very nice bike.

I would to know what you think of the drive?
I would also like someone to compare how they drive to the 06 R6 but I don't think I will have any luck on this.

1bar - thanks man, and its not easy. had a lot of money saved up and from the sale of my previous bike. i am financing this new bike, and with only 14hrs this semester, enables me to get in a bit more riding

EkEli - yep, they are selling pretty damn fast everywhere, partly because they just started popping up. mine was the first this dealership had gotten in.

Pete_SI - coming from an r6, i still frequent R6MN. sounds like the new r6 is certainly geared as a track bike and from what i hear, it exceeded most peoples expectations. i am more of a leisure rider, hittin up the gap when i can but mostly commuting so this bike seemed like the right bike for me. felt a little more comfortable too, new r6's tank was a tad larger/longer so the new gixxer was less of a reach (for me at least).

x2. That bike is so sexy. Looks like manufacturers are ditching the angular look for something a little more organic.

Hopefully they'll all follow Suzuki's lead by making the seats smaller.

just in case you might want to put a tarp or something under the bike. dont wanna mess up the carpet if something drips you know.

The 06 gsxr 600 is super comfy, local dealer a couple on the floor.

Big to your GF for getting you that helmet, I love my RX7-RR4, so damn comfy.

i had my bike in the living room, it smelled to much though, exhaust and gas stinks up the house. Next step is a 2" eye bolt sunk into some concrete with one of the kryptonite chains/locks. hopefully that keeps thieves from stealing this one

Nice bike, i was going to spring for a new one this year but i cant wait to save that much money. Id rather ride now and save then sell this one and upgrade. Love the blue/white combo though

Nice ride. I remember when I first got my ish brand new, straight up obsessed for like a month straight!

Side note/thread jack: Do you guys think wearing a race replica helmet from someone who rides a diffrent make then yours is wierd? I love Nicky but since I ride an R6 I would not wear his replica. Maybe its just me...
