99 coupe - need help stripping interior
can any body tell me if the metal backshelf form any sort of strutural support or could i remove it and how would i go about removing it
also what else can be removed apart from obvious seats seat belts trim etc
less than a ton would be a nice weight if possible

I wouldn't mess with the structural support too much

Yeah, unless you COMPLETELY strip the car, you really aren't making that big of a difference anyways, it's not really worth the loss of the ability to carry back seat passengers
