Hey guys, recently someone told me that the last year Prelude MT shift **** would be perfect in my car, a turbo CRX. So I tried looking for one in classifieds and ebay. Then I realized you all were right here! Does someone know where I could find one? Here is a pic of the interior and car so you know it would be for a good cause!

 

the **** with red stitching is the SH preludes

i don't remember which year, they are kinda rare but you should be able to find it

 

Yea try looking up the 99-01 SH models.

Also I like that steering wheel alot, could you tell me where you picked it up?

 

i thought the SH had black stitching? anyways, i found one on ebay. not a prelude shift ****, but looks good.

I have a Type SH. The stock shiftknob is black stitching and ridiculously huge. Like the end of a golfclub kinda thing.

 

I believe some of the older SH models came with the Red stiching on the boot and shift ****. Right now, I have a black boot w/red stiching that I bought from another member awhile back

 

They are REALLY rare...I havent been able to find one for the longest time!

Thanks for the compliments! And the color is pretty much a match of WRBlue for a WRX. The code is Dupont 02C. From there you can shade it however you want.

The steering wheel is from a JDM ITR. This one has no airbag, but I know you can get them with an airbag for your newer Preludes

That's the one that some of the SH's came with....I've personally have only seen it in 1 SH

that looks like a JDM RSX steering wheel...but I could be wrong.

 

i have a honda access shift **** on my prelude and its black with red stitching.

Does that mean you want to sell it!?

And if you search for a Integra Type R steering wheel that's JDM you will find that steering wheel. Remember there is no Acura in Japan (I know you guys already know that)

The one in my car has no airbag and is much older than an RSX....

Oh I forgot, the ITR wheel came from ebay. $175 There is one there now for over $200. I bought mine from "japandy" he sells quite a bit there. I would try and contact him, he was a good seller.

if you do get that shift **** you'll probably want to get the chrome piece from the shift boot also, so that it will "snap" onto the **** the same way it does in preludes. If not you'll have 2 little hook like things sticking down from your shift ****.

 

Maybe its a Type S kinda thing. I have seen quite a few SH's and have never seen red stitching. But some JDM Type S have black seats with red stitching front a rear, and im willing to bet the boot and **** match.

OEM honda accessories offered a black with red stitching shift ****, but it is now a discontinued part along with the matching boot (from Honda).
So, good luck trying to find a honda one....

Back up from the dead! I have been looking! And scouring! The best I can come up with is one for a auto transmission. Still wondering if a Prelude guy has something for sale.

I like my shiftknow+boot setup... i'm too lazy to get pix tho
