I was reading I think a Honda Tuning mag a few months back and there was a Prelude in there where the body was all made from carbon fiber and I think the company was Carbon Creations and it looked real nice, but I could be wrong though and I don't know much about carbon fiber so maybe go with what others are saying.

I have had two hoods from ViS, one on my old prelude and one on this one. I have no complaints about the hoods. Fit perfect, hold up nicely, look nice... What's wrong with them?
I put a VIS on my first 'lude, and the 'lude that I have now has (what I'm pretty sure) is the Carbon Creations "vader" style on it. I actually would like to have the VIS hood back...the fitment of the new one sucks, it has too much arch from front to back compared to the fenders (gaps in the center). My .02.

^^ how old is it? do you not wax it? I had my old one for years and it only had small cracks around the hoodpins, but they weren't noticable. Other than that, it looked perfect at ~4 years old
definately, VIS. I presently got a carbon creation hood from extereme dimension and it sucks *****.........huge gaint gap between the fender and hood and how they lay the carbon fiber sheet down was not perfectly stretched. I wish I got the VIS; but to bad........the clearcoat hasn't gone bad aleast
Not sure why Vis is so up and down. I have a VIS currently and can't wait till hood comes back to the top of the list of things to do so i can get a different brand. it's yellowing slightly and getting hairlines down the center. also bowed up along the fenders, so i had to install pins. there are pieces shaking around inside the ribs and none of the holes (for weatherstripping and hood prop) were drilled proper size.
VIS came highly recommended and i have seen good ones b4, but i have seen bad ones too. Mine is only 2 years old, kinda expected it to last longer.

man I was thinking vis myself since they are so popular and have good reputation, but now I freaked out with all of this up and downs. same thing with seibon hoods, they also get up and dows consistently. Fiber Images not too many had experience with them, but I've seen pics and they look nice.
vis hoods are wack...the weave is so huge and lame. it's all about evasive motorsports 1x1 weave hoods...

VIS =
-Horrible Fitment (3/4 inch gap between fender and hood)
-Clear Coat faded and turned yellow after 2 years
-Underside started cracking due to heat from engine bay
-Expensive
SEIBON =
-Excellent Fitment (fits like OEM)
-Craftsmanship is pretty good
-No fading or yellowing
-Inexpensive
