do you have any actual pics of the install? i have a set of 6000k hid's (not the catz bull$%^t ballasts, but real k2 6000k hid's) that i am waiting to install and i can use any help that you can offer

 

i think someone post a comparison before, 7k looks better but 6k is actually brighter. Both look good!!

Actually installation is very easy as long as you know how to take the front bumper out of the way and the headlights, then there is a lots of room for you to play with. For the 7000kHID, just 2 pick ups from the factory plugs on each side and the prowers and grounds to the battery thats all.

 

i was under the impression that you had to silicone the lights into the housings...that is how the guy did it on rsxclub.com but the instructions that came with it don't say anything like that

I think he was refering to the fact that all your posts have been derogatory to the RSX. How next time you post like this "I don't really like H.I.D..." and then you could go on an explain. After going through all your posts on the RSX forum, I still haven't quite figured out why you are here.

can we get a pic of both lights laying the output on the ground or against a walll?
you cant really tell which one is brighter or better if you can only see what color the light is

you don't need any silicon at all, the guy who used silicon didn't know whats he is doing, you can use the factory clip which holds the light in place, just bent a little bit and it will work perfect.
