Lower Motor Mounts ?
Hello all,
My question is, does anybody make a full replacement lower motor mounts? I have searched everywhere and all I find are inserts. But, I can't use my existing lower motor mounts cause they are completely ripped. I'm trying to replace all 5 mounts, I already bought the top 2 and the rear, now I just need the bottom 2. I heard Jimfab made replacement mounts for the lowers but it looks like he's no longer doing them. Am I going to have to buy OEM lower mounts then buy inserts?
Thanks for your imput.

Will the OEM mounts work with the Hasport uppers and rear? I bought the 70A Hasport mounts and thought the lowers would be too soft for these.
The will work fine with the hasport mounts.
They will actually receive less stress because the hasport mounts are already limiting engine movement much more than stock.
If you're worried, just get inserts for the replacements as well...

Yeah, it looks like this is what I'm going to have to do. I guess the best inserts are the ES, right?

Actually, there is nothing to align it with, pretty much all the rubber was ripped out during the accident. All I have is the outer casing of the lower mount

I beg to differ. The hassport mounts are so stiff that the supplementary mounts would be there to add weight. If they help(which I dont think they do) at all, it wouldnt even be noticeable.

Its interesting that happened to you too. After my accident, I noticed that the Energy Suspensions motor mounts that I had both had broken the zipties and popped out of the mount
I fixed it though.

I've heard with the ES inserts the zipties are pretty weak, how did you fix yours...........with more zipties?

I bought the Hasport (70A) mounts and can't wait to get them on, they told me to expect vibrations.

is it just me or do the spoon mounts look just like the OEM ones?
i have the lower ES mounts and they work great, definately much stiffer, you can tell just by the vibration in the steering wheel at idle.

amen! best ten bucks i spent! sprayed it with a heavy coat of black for that sleeper look. vibration at idle is hardly noticeable... but definitely there for the 1-2 and 2-3 shift
btw, i believe these are called the 'torque mounts'

Thanks guys, ordered the stock lower mounts and just bought the ES inserts.
I hope this along with the Hasport mounts will make for a sweet ride.
Now I need some coil-overs.
Any opinions........Tein Flex perhaps or maybe Buddy Club N+ Spec?
