So I am looking into wideband o2 units, specifically the m300, and i have a question.
I have an apexi full auto turbotimer, and it features o2 sensor voltage and a/f readout. This can be calibrated for any o2 sensor range (narrow by default). So technically could i just get teh wideband o2 sensor itself and NOT the controller and use the TT to monitor the a/f's?
Do i need the controller for the wideband to work? Is there any use for the controller other than monitoring the wideband output?

Read up a little bit on how widebands work and you'll see why that's a ridiculous thought... although we all thought it a few times before we did our homework

It cannot read at all without the controller. The controller drives the pump, and the entire accuracy of the wideband depends on the pump. You can have a controller without a display, however!
