Default swaybar on a damaged car?

i have a GSR which was hit on the rear quarter passenger's side. the damage was bad enough that some frame pulling was necessary. i want to get a rear sway bar. is it possible that the damage done to my car can effect the sway bar? i am worried that my suspension may not be completely straight and might cause the sway bar to tear out at worst. i autocross so the swaybar will get a workout.
my stock swaybar seems to be ok. anyone have any opinions?

worst case scenario get a comptech sway/tie combo so you can just use the stock lca mounting points.
