how much are you willing to spend your engine has lower compression for turbo than a b series

turbo- $1000- $3000
there are many already made kits for your engine (greddy apexi edelbrock)
that come with bigger injectors/intercoolers/and engine mangement and you can run about 8psi reliably so about 170-190 to the wheels
or you can make a custom one

b16a/gsr- 2000-3000
very reliable 160/170 out of the box (but not to the wheels)
higher compression

You would be better off going with your sohc turbo. B20 motors are like the worst motor you can boost, so good luck with that lol. Sounds like you need to do some more research before you make any decisions.

It sounds like you have no idea what you want, but yeah, I'd boost a sohc before I'd pay to swap a B20 and boost it.
