Default tranny question

i just got this 92 civic hatchback but it's automatic. so i wanted to do an auto to manual coversion. The question i wanted to ask is i have a 5spd tranny from a 89 civic does anybody know if it would fit into the hatchback? THANKS FOR THE HELP

yeah make sure its a d series motor and tranny for them to be compatible.

You are better off finding a hydraulic tranny from another 92-95 civic, what you have is a cable tranny and you would have to get a conversion kit from Hasport or equiv.
