Default 1/2 Core Radiator on a Teg?

What kind of cooling problems will i run into, if I were to use a civic half radiator on a boosted teg? I see it working on lots of cars but if mine is a daily driver the engine will get hot on long rides. It's not boosted yet but I will probably need the room. Is it a realistic solution as a space saver. Also, if I were to use the 1/2 core with a 12 inch slim fan what would be the minimum cfm on the fan required to keep things from overheating? Thanx.

people are gonna tell you to search because its been covered many times.

there are people that run the normal half-size without any problems. i ran one, but it still overheated so i ended up buying a PWR aluminum half-size, and it hasn't overheated since. i'd recommend getting an aluminum one just to be on the safe side. it's a real space saver as well. as for the fan, i'm not sure.

Think about this. Why would an Integra with a 1/2 size run hotter than all the civics running a 1/2 size? They both have the same motor. Just because its an Integra makes no difference.

Err no? Unless you're talking about a swap.

I have a single core 1/2 sized radiator on a boosted GSR....no problems thus far. I run a 50/50 mix in the summer in Memphis, TN where temps can get over 100 in the summer. Not sure how accurate the stock water temp gauge is, but mine has never even made it to the half way point...

just my .02
