are the GSR and LS camp cap bolts (the 4 10mm ones) the same? the LS are 6x40 the GSR are 6x45, would there be any problems using the LS in the GSR? LMK Asap cause i really need to get my car running. THX!

they are different.
here's the part # for that bolt

its #32 in the pic


there are 16 #32's and 4 #20's. #20 is the longer valve cover stud/cam cap bolt.

 

the only difference between the 2 is the length. would it be okay to use even though the LS ones are short?

 

I wouldn't. If they come up too short, you'll tear the threads out of the head. They're so cheap that I don't know why you wouldn't want to just buy new ones from a dealership or even from a hardware store.

you were talking about 16 and 17? then they are the same bolts, i in fact did this.

here are part numbersm they are smaller in fact from the LS head... but you can use em though.
