just the tranny is going for 550, you guys think this is a good price? its a 97 with about 15k miles. with stock lsd and itr flywheel. has all papers.

That's the best deal I EVER seen on an Integra Type R tranny. Why is he selling anyway?? What tranny is better than that?? Unless you found it in a junkyard, but yea that's a good deal.

I'd be worried about getting what you paid for.

Trannies like that usually go for 3x to 4x that much.

 

Yup sounds too good to be true. I wouldn't buy it without an internal inspection or some sort of guarantee that there are no problems with it.

You went 5th to 2nd @ 75 mph and your tranny/clutch are the things that got messed up? Trannies can usually handle that. How's your motor?

or try to inspect that, might not be a ITR
probably an SI

check the codes

trannys usually go for 1000 in good condition

Buy it! If anything is wrong you can part it out and make your money back easily. But if you can get it inspected that would be good too, especially if he has all the papers. I say go for it, if not, email me and I'll buy it.

how can i check? the guy lives too far. he has the pepers for it, if i see them, it still wont mean that i will be getting the true stuff. man, i want that tranny!

You can't get no money on the final drive. 97 JDM itr is 4.40

If he lives too far and is too good to be true, just send me the money so I can send you a box of rocks.

i would only buy a used tranny from a place i trust and a place that will warranty it.....id never buy a motor or tranny over the internet.
