Brake Problems... :(

Default Brake Problems... :(

i got a problems with my 1989 b16a crx si. My problem is that i have a really hard time braking when i go pass 55+mph. I have changed my brake and bleeding brake fluid. When i try to brake on the highway my steering wheel shake continuously. Do u guys have any idea what the problem is?

that used to happen to me with my eclipse. your rotors might be warped or the surface of them may be un-even. have the rotors re-cut so that they will be perfectly flushed against the brake pads.

88rotors.com, located in irwindale, the dude's name is Ken, he rules, i got 2 front cross drilled and slotted brembo discs for $80. they are great!

Because looking at them does not tell you if they are warped or unparallel. You need a micrometer and dial indicator for that. Shaking at highway speeds while braking is a rotor problem. I would suggest getting new ones like brembo blanks or autozone blanks. Make sure you break in the pads correctly also.
